Welcome to Dundalk St Gerard’s AC.

We are a vibrant, predominantly juvenile athletic club based in the Dundalk area. Established in 1982, we are an affiliated club of the Athletic Association of Ireland (AAI), Athletics Leinster and Athletics Louth. We welcome new members from 7 years old upwards, subject to capacity in the appropriate training groups.     Wishing a very Happy New Year to all our followers. Here’s hoping it will also be another great year for our amazing DSG athletes. For our first post of the year, we say farewell (for now) and good luck to our DSG 2025 Athlete of the Year, Gráinne Moran. Today, Gráinne left our shores to embark on her exciting next chapter. She’s making her way to Tennessee Technological University to kickstart her collegiate adventure and athletics scholarship. We wish Gráinne the very best in both her academic and athletic journeys over the coming years. 🤞💪🔴⚪️

    KATE O’CONNOR has been named Irish Times Sport Ireland Sportswoman of the Year for 2025, capping a landmark season that placed her firmly among the elite of world athletics.

    The Dundalk-based heptathlete enjoyed a sensational breakthrough year, highlighted by a silver medal at the World Championships in Tokyo, where she delivered a historic performance on the global stage. That achievement not only confirmed her status as one of the world’s premier all-round athletes, but also etched her name into Irish sporting history.

    DSG were in the medals at the recent Cushinstown AC Indoor Sports competition. There were really fabulous performances and great fun on the day. Thank you to Cushinstown Athletic Club and all the club officials and juvenile helpers, who made it a great day as always.
